  • 16 April 1909 - Future Hall-of-Fame outfielder Harry Hooper makes his major league debut for Boston in a 3-2 loss to the Senators in Washington.
  • 30 May 1913 - Harry Hooper leads off both ends of a doubleheader with home runs; though Boston loses the opener 4-3, the home run is the difference in a 1-0 win in the second contest.
  • 4 March 1921 - Veteran Red Sox right fielder Harry Hooper is traded to the White Sox in exchange for outfielders Nemo Leibold and Shano Collins.
